We will examine the high rates of violence, sexual assault and the vulnerabilities of our Two-Spirit/Native LGBTQ adult, youth, and community; as well as provide ways in which Tribal Colleges and Universities can ensure they are responding holistically to LGBTQ2S students impacted by sexual violence. We will highlight how the Two-Spirit/Native LGBTQ community is individually and collectively trying to bring balance, beauty, and acceptance back into our tribal communities.

Data Breach Notifications & Survivor Confidentiality Webinar: Native Alliance Against Violence

11:00 am AK | 12:00 pm PST | 1:00 am MST | 2:00 pm CST |3:00 pm EST. Both OVW grantee requirements and state laws require programs to inform survivors of data breaches. However, data breach notifications can pose serious safety and privacy risks to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault and must be thought through carefully. This webinar, offered by the NAAV Data Collection Project Development for Tribal Governments, addresses issues victim service programs must consider as they draft and implement data breach notification policies.
