Infographics – Making Data Memorable (Part 1): Native Alliance Against Violence

September 1 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

10:00 am AK | 11:00 am PST | 12:00 pm MST | 1:00 pm CST |2:00 pm EST A two-part webinar offered by the NAAV Data Collection Project Development for Tribal Governments. Infographics transform data into stories with pictures, making information more accessible and engaging for everyone. Presenting data with infographics is a compelling way to illustrate activities, barriers, and outcomes by sharing program content online, or on posters, brochures, and leaflets. In this interactive session, we will work to create infographics from the most recent OVW progress reports using free online resources. After the workshop, participants can sign up for one-on-one assistance with creating their infographic. By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to: 1. Navigate online infographic platforms. 2. Convert facts and figures into images. 3. Export infographics to print and digital material. Prerequisites: 1. This workshop is limited to 5-6 participants. This workshop will be repeated in the future for more opportunities. 2. Participants should also register for the Part II workshop (Sept. 9th). 3. Participants should have their previous 1-2 progress reports accessible.
