Mending the Sacred Hoop in partnership with the Office of Justice Programs, is offering a day and a half Transformative Adaptation Institute. This includes traditional and creative healing and opportunity to identifying a sustainability plan for tribal advocacy programs/shelters and programs responding to our indigenous relatives who have been impacted by domestic/sexual violence, sex trafficking, dating violence and stalking.
Mending the Sacred Hoop will share our assessment results of COVID-19 experiences from both practitioners and survivors to better assist in program emergency preparedness. We will have an opportunity to share experiences, offer recognition of the challenges faced and provide creative and restorative Activities to encourage and support the shared healing.
- The events will be a repeat of each other.
- Space for 40 people to attend
- 30 applicants will be selected for a scholarship.
- Please keep in mind you can only attend one event.
Scholarships: People traveling more than 30 miles can apply for accommodations for lodging. 30 scholarships will be given to those who complete application.
Those who don’t qualify for the scholarship have the option to attend and participate in the event for each day and food will be provided.
Meals: Provided for all attendees
